Kids don’t learn to make good decisions by always being told what to do—they learn by making decisions! Every choice, big or small, helps them develop confidence, critical thinking, and resilience.
Let them pick their outfit (even if it clashes). Let them choose a book (even if it’s the same one again). Let them solve problems their own way (even if it takes longer).The goal isn’t perfection—it’s growth. When we give kids the space to decide, we’re not just raising obedient followers… we’re raising future leaders, problem-solvers, and confident thinkers.
Step back. Guide gently. Watch them shine.
